LVEF has initiated a fundraising campaign to enable the Livermore public schools (LVJUSD) to purchase Chromebooks and related technology for Students and teachers.
As a result of COVID-19, LVJUSD has opened the 2020-2021 academic year with remote learning only. Chromebooks and other computer and software are essential to the success of remote learning.
The objective is to have a Chromebook for each student and more capable laptops for teachers. In coordination with LVJUSD, LVEF has established a fundraising goal of $300,000 in 2020.
The foundation is pleased to be joined in this effort by other generous people and organizations in the community. Our partners include STAT MED Urgent Care, The Livermore Rotary Clubs and Rotarian Foundation, The Realtors Alliance of Livermore, and The Livermore Lions Club.
Additional partners are always welcome.
Those who wish to contribute may do so by donating directly to LVEF (button directing them to LVEF CCCB page), or through any of our partners. STAT MED Urgent Care is donating to this campaign $5 for each COVID-19 test they perform in Livermore. Donors may also participate in LVEF’s trivial contest.
Please consider making a contribution today.
