Livermore Schools Returning to In-person Instruction

In-person instruction for Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) students will resume March 22, 2021.  At a special School Board meeting yesterday, trustees unanimously approved the recommendation of Superintendent Kelly Bowers to officially end school dismissal, marking close to a year of distance learning because of the pandemic. Students attending preschool through 12th grade will be able to come to school or remain in distance learning, based on their individual family preference.

The Livermore Valley Education Foundation is dedicated to restoring and enhancing academic and extra-curricular programs in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. We are an independent foundation that works closely, but is separate from, the LVJUSD. Founded in the 1991, the LVEF is an all-volunteer organization run by a dedicated, local board of directors.
